Canada invited 7,000 people to immigrate

This is the largest Express Entry draw in recent times.

On March 15, Canada held a new immigration draw in the Express Entry system.

7,000 invitations were sent to applicants in all federal immigration programs. Participants had to score a minimum of 490 points on the Comprehensive Ranking System for age, education, language skills, work experience, and other factors.

The previous general drawing in Express Entry was held on January 18, and the minimum score was the same. Before that, the 4 consecutive draws were not for all applicants, but only for skilled workers and applicants with provincial nominations.
