Registration opened for Canada's largest job fair
The event is held online every year.
Registration has begun for the annual job fair, Destination Canada Mobility Forum. The event will be attended by employers who are looking for employees in a variety of fields. Participation is free.
The Forum is primarily intended for candidates with knowledge of French or English and French who want to live in Canada outside the province of Quebec. But it is also possible to try to participate with a knowledge of English only.
This year's Forum will focus on several areas:
- Information and Communications Technology;
- Tourism–Hospitality-Culinary.
How to register
Registration for the Forum is at its official website. There you will need to fill out an application form. You will need a Canadian-format CV in English and French.
You will also be asked to indicate your level of both languages, education, additional certificates (if any), and describe your professional skills.
Information and Communications Technology
For those with IT experience, the Destination Canada Forum schedule is as follows:
- registration — February 17 to March 5;
- interviews with employers — February 20 to March 31;
- sending of invitations to the Forum — March 10;
- virtual Forum — March 14.
Those with work experience over the past 10 years in one of the professions can register:
- telecommunication carriers managers;
- health information management occupations;
- engineering managers;
- computer and information systems managers;
- data scientists;
- cybersecurity specialists;
- business systems specialists;
- information systems specialists;
- database analysts and data administrators;
- computer systems developers and programmers;
- software engineers and designers;
- software developers and programmers;
- web designers;
- web developers and programmers;
- electrical and electronics engineers;
- computer engineers;
- computer network and web technicians;
- user support technicians;
- information systems testing specialists;
- electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians;
- industrial instrument technicians and mechanics;
- graphic arts technicians;
- graphic designers and illustrators.
Tourism-Hospitality-Culinary
For those who want to participate in the Forum dedicated to tourism, hotel, and catering workers, the schedule will be as follows:
- registration — February 17 to March 5;
- interviews with employers — February 20 to March 31;
- sending of invitations to the Forum — March 10;
- virtual Forum — March 20 and 21.
