Canadian province is changing its immigration system
The changes will take effect next month and will affect many candidates.
The province of British Columbia is preparing to introduce a new evaluation system for immigration candidates. The change will affect streams for professionals and university graduates.
Right now, British Columbia is temporarily not conducting draws or accepting new immigration applications due to Canada's transition to the new NOC occupational classification. On November 16, when acceptance of applications resume, the province will use not only the new NOC but also the new candidate evaluation system.
British Columbia will change the evaluation system for the following streams:
Details about the new evaluation system will appear in November. As of October 12, all profiles of those who applied for immigration to British Columbia have been deleted. After November 16 you will need to reapply under the new rules.
