Selections in Saskatchewan on March 8
They invited candidates from Ukraine and representatives of professions in demand.
On March 8, the province of Saskatchewan sent out invitations to those applicants who had previously applied for immigration to the province through two streams:
- Occupation In-Demand, for in-demand professionals without a job offer;
- Saskatchewan Express Entry is for in-demand professionals who are selected through the Express Entry system.
Three candidates from Ukraine were invited out of turn, regardless of profession and with reduced requirements. The passing score for them was 61.
The rest of the candidates were selected according to their profession — the province needed representatives of 25 professions in total. The first stream, Occupation In-Demand, invited 43 people, and the second, Saskatchewan Express Entry, 39 people. The minimum score for all was 87.
The last selection was held very recently, on March 4, 2022, invitations were sent out only to Ukrainian candidates. A total of 36 people were invited.
Now Saskatchewan needed the following specialists:
- senior managers — health care, education, social and community services and membership organizations;
- managers in insurance, real estate and financial intermediation;
- administrators — higher education and professional training;
- retail and wholesale managers;
- production managers;
- specialists in business consulting;
- professionals in advertising, marketing and public relations;
- supervisors, librarians, mailers, and information workers;
- supervisors, postal workers, and couriers;
- administrative staff;
- executive assistants;
- administrative assistants;
- medical administrative assistants;
- health information management specialists;
- metallurgical and materials engineers;
- technologists and technicians of design work;
- health, safety and security Inspectors;
- professional therapists;
- medical laboratory technologists;
- radiation medicine technologists;
- social educators;
- psychologists;
- family and marriage counselors and other related industry counselors;
- economists, economics researchers, and analysts;
- consultants, program managers, and social policy researchers;
- consultants, program managers, and educational researchers;
- social workers and community service organizers;
- telecommunications installation and repair workers;
- flooring installers;
- contractors and managers in oil and gas drilling and services;
- oil, gas & chemicals refiners.
