The province of Ontario held its second consecutive selection

Managers, medics, and some specialists received invitations.

On January 12, the province Ontario issued 502 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination. The selection was made as part of the province's immigration program on the human capital priorities stream. In each drawing, the province gives preference to the participants most in demand in the labour market.

Applicants who were selected in the past selection process scored between 464 and 467 on the Comprehensive Ranking System and had experience in one of 6 occupations:

To participate in the Human Capital Priorities stream, a candidate must have a profile in the Express Entry system, which the Canadian federal government uses to process applications for permanent residency, and meet the requirements of one of the federal programs:

Candidates will receive an additional 600 points in Express Entry if they are successfully nominated by the province. Due to this high score, they can easily receive an invitation to immigration in the next selection.

To increase your chances of receiving an invitation from Ontario, keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
