Businessmen received invitations.

On Dec. 22, Nova Scotia sent 22 invitations to the provincial immigration program. The drawing was held among candidates in two entrepreneurial streams: for businessmen and Nova Scotia graduates who own businesses in the province.

In the selection for entrepreneurs 20 people were invited, the passing score in the system "Expression of Interest" was 119. Among entrepreneurial graduates, 2 people were selected, the passing score in the system "Expression of Interest" was 53. Passing scores were down from the previous selection on September 13.

Applicants must have business management experience to apply. Applicants are also evaluated on factors such as education, language skills, age, length of management experience and other criteria.
