Saskatchewan has made its largest selection of the year
More than 600 lucky winners received an invitation.
On November 18, Saskatchewan sent 633 invitations to apply for nominations under the provincial immigration program. This is the largest draw for 2021.
The invitations were distributed as follows:
- specialists in high-demand professions — 208 invitations;
- skilled professionals who are selected through Express Entry — 425 invitations.
The passing score in Expression of Interest for both categories was 65. This is 6 points lower than the previous selection held on September 27.
The invited candidates had experience in one of 14 suitable occupations. The list includes managers and workers in industry, electrical engineering and construction.
In addition to having a suitable profession, applicants for immigration to Saskatchewan are assessed on factors such as work experience, education, language, age and links to the province.
