Saskatchewan invites in-demand specialists
About 400 people with certain professions were selected in the selection.
On September 27, the Saskatchewan Immigration Programme issued 391 invitations to apply for a nomination from the province.
The invitations were distributed as follows:
- specialists in high-demand professions — 239 invitations;
- skilled professionals who are selected through Express Entry — 152 invitations.
The passing score in the system "Expression of interest" for both categories was 71. This is 5 points higher than in the previous selection, which took place on 8 September.
The invited candidates had experience in one of 61 suitable professions. The list includes managers and supervisors in various fields, supervisors, administrative staff, technologists, medics, educators, production workers and others.
In addition to having a suitable profession, applicants for immigration to Saskatchewan are assessed on factors such as work experience, education, language, age and links to the province.
