Saskatchewan sends out invitations to in-demand professionals

In a major selection process, the province selected candidates whose professions matched labour market needs.

On July 8, the Saskatchewan Provincial Program sent 295 invitations to applicants to apply for a provincial nomination and to pursue permanent residency in Canada.

The invitations in the system "Expression of interest" were distributed as follows:

The passing score for both categories was 80, two points lower than it was in the previous selection, which was held on June 15.

The invited candidates had experience in one of 62 suitable professions. The list includes managers in various fields, supervisors, administrative staff, medics, engineers, technologists, teachers, machinists, welders and other professions.

In addition to having a suitable profession, applicants for immigration to Saskatchewan are assessed on factors such as work experience, education, language, age and links to the province.

To increase your chances of receiving an invitation to apply for a nomination from Saskatchewan, keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
