Hundreds of professionals invited to Saskatchewan

The province has again called for candidates for a new list of professions.

On June 15, the Saskatchewan Provincial Program sent 255 invitations to applicants to apply for a provincial nomination and to further pursue permanent residency in Canada.

Points and invitations in the "Expression of Interest" system were distributed as follows:

The passing score in this draw was 17 points higher than in the previous selection, which took place on May 25.

The invited candidates had experience in one of 55 suitable professions. The list includes managers in various fields, supervisors, administrative staff, medics, engineers, technologists, teachers, machinists, welders and other professions. In the last selection, the list of suitable professions changed again.

In addition to having a suitable profession, applicants for immigration to Saskatchewan are assessed on factors such as work experience, education, language, age and links to the province.
