Manitoba has a new selection process for qualified individuals
This time the selection didn't go as well as usual.
On April 19, 399 candidates received invitations to apply for nomination from the province of Manitoba.
Selection was through the Manitoba Immigration Program among qualified professionals from overseas.
This time, the passing scores were different, depending on how candidates applied: directly to the province or through Express Entry.
The invitations, also known as letters of recommendation of application, together with the relevant assessment requirements "Expression of Interest" (EOI) were distributed as follows:
- skilled professionals — 30 invitations, minimum score 703;
- skilled professionals through Express Entry — 369 invitations, minimum score 708.
Passing scores are down from previous selection, which was held on April 8.
Keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations to increase your chances of immigration.
