Two new selections in Alberta
The province invited health care professionals – and more.
Alberta shared the results of two past selections. On Oct. 5, the province sent 150 invitations to applicants with in-demand occupations and relatives living in the province. The minimum score for applicants in this round was 323. This is significantly higher than the previous similar selection held September 14 — by 22 points.
And on Oct. 10, a drawing was held for applicants with an offer of a provincial job in health care. Such invitations were sent out to 13 — to applicants who scored 327 points or more. Alberta's previous selection of medical candidates was held on Sept. 26, at which time the passing score was 16 points lower.
