Ontario held a draw for entrepreneurs
The selections were through a special stream for businessmen.
On Sept. 25, the Province of Ontario held another screening this month and sent invitations to 10 entrepreneurs. Applicants needed to score between 136 and 163 points.
Ontario's Entrepreneur Stream is for business people who have capital of CA$ 400,000 or more and are willing to invest CA$ 200,000 or more in a business. Points are awarded based on the following parameters: language skills, education, business ownership and management experience, amount of capital and investment, number of jobs created, business concept and so on.
The previous selection for entrepreneurs was held July 28, and the minimum score was 2 points lower.
