Immigration draw in Saskatchewan on August 18
The province continues to invite the professionals it needs.
On August 18, Saskatchewan held a new draw and invited foreign skilled workers to apply for the province's nomination:
- 252 candidates in the Occupations in Demand stream (passing score of 67);
- 416 candidates in the Saskatchewan Express Entry stream (passing score of 67).
This time Saskatchewan needed members of the following professions:
- retail and wholesale trade managers;
- technical sales specialists — wholesale trade;
- computer network technicians;
- Inspectors in public and environmental health and occupational health and safety;
- construction managers;
- user support technicians;
- retail sales supervisors;
- restaurant and food service managers;
- medical laboratory technicians and pathologists' assistants;
- construction estimators;
- other medical technologists and technicians (excluding dental technicians);
- other technical occupations in therapy and assessment;
- accommodation service managers;
- agricultural service contractors, farm supervisors and specialized livestock workers;
- executive housekeepers;
- cardiology and electrophysiological diagnostic technologists;
- respiratory therapists, clinical perfusionists and cardiopulmonary technologists;
- supervisors, motor transport and other ground transit operators.
On August 18, 668 foreign applicants were lucky.
The previous draw took place on August 11: 745 people were invited.
So far in 2022, Saskatchewan has sent invitations to 4,925 candidates under all streams.
