August Selection in British Columbia
The province has invited more than a hundred specialists.
On August 10, 2022, the province of British Columbia held another selection under the provincial immigration program. 175 workers in various categories were invited.
155 people were selected in the general drawing. Passing scores were distributed as follows:
- Skilled professionals — 105 points
- foreign students — 87 points
- Intermediate and lower skilled workers — 76
The following professions received 20 invitations as part of the whole selection process:
- Early childhood educators and assistants;
- health care professionals;
- nurse assistants, orderlies, and patient care assistants;
- veterinarians and animal health technologists and veterinary technicians.
