Prince Edward Island held an immigration screening
The minimum score increased, the number of invitees decreased.
On June 16, 2022, the province sent out 136 invitations to become permanent resident nominees. Nine businessmen and 127 migrant workers were called for this selection. The province's previous drawing was held May 20, at which time 153 nominees received invitations.
The passing score for entrepreneurs in the June drawing was higher — now they had to gain 65 points. In the previous selection, 62 points were enough.
This year, 826 lucky recipients received invitations from the province of Prince Edward Island: 64 in the business stream and 762 in the employee stream.
