Journées Québec virtual job fairs
Registration is open for events for residents of the Schengen area and North Africa.
The Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration announced plans Québec to hire 3,000 foreign professionals by March 2023. Since 2008 and before the pandemic, Quebec held Journées Québec job fairs in Europe twice a year.
The Journées Québec program seeks francophone professionals and takes into account the strategic development plans of the province of Québec. The priority sectors of the economy for 2022-2023 have been announced:
- health care;
- education;
- child care;
- information technology;
- engineering.
Quebec also needs workers in the hotel and restaurant business and the shipping sector.
Between 2022 and 2023, Quebec plans to hold at least 17 online events for potential immigrants. For a sample schedule and to apply, visit the program website.
