The most popular immigration program relaunched
With its help, several thousand candidates a year will be able to obtain permanent residency in Canada.
On March 6, applications for the renewed Atlantic Immigration Program reopened. It was originally launched as a temporary immigration pilot, but it gained enormous popularity, so the decision was made to make the pilot a permanent program.
The Atlantic program allows you to immigrate to one of the Atlantic provinces in eastern Canada:
There is an acute shortage of workers in these regions. A special feature of the program is that local companies can simplify the recruitment of foreign applicants, who later receive a permanent residence permit. The program also features reduced requirements for education, language skills and availability of funds.
Since its launch in 2017, 12,700 immigrants have moved through the Atlantic program. Statistics show that after one year, 90% of them stayed in the province where they settled. After the re-launch, the program will invite up to 6,000 applicants each year.
