Nova Scotia invited Express Entry candidates
The province has sent invitations to suitable professionals.
On October 7, Nova Scotia invited some candidates under the provincial immigration program to apply for a provincial nomination. Although drawing criteria have been published, there is no accurate data on the number of invited professionals following labour market priorities.
Nevertheless, it is known that the candidates should have:
- Have an offer of qualified employment from a full-time Nova Scotia employer;
- have at least 1 year of qualified work experience;
- prove proficiency in English within a framework at level 5 on the CLB scale.
Among other things, workers in carpenter were invited separately. The candidates had to:
- have 2 or more years of qualified work experience;
- prove proficiency in English within a framework at level 5 or higher on the CLB scale.
Invited candidates now have until November 6, 2021 to apply. Receiving a provincial nomination provides an additional 600 points on the Comprehensive Ranking System, which almost guarantees that applicants will be invited to apply for CoML in a subsequent Express Entry drawing.
You can increase your chances of receiving such an invitation by following history of passing scores and number of invitations.
