Alberta shares the results of the last drawing

For the year 2021, the province issued 2,761 invitations to permanent residency.

On July 27, Alberta's immigration program sent 148 invitations to apply for nomination from the province. The drawing was held among applicants who participated in the immigration stream with selection through Express Entry.

The minimum score on the complex ranking system was 300. This is 1 point lower compared to the previous selection, which took place on July 14.

To receive an invitation in the drawing, applicants needed to have a profile in the Express Entry system, which Canada uses to process applications for permanent residency under the three federal immigration programs:

Candidates who receive a nomination from a province are awarded an additional 600 points. This virtually guarantees an invitation to the subsequent Express Entry draw.

To maximize your chances of receiving an invitation from the Province of Alberta, keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
