Saskatchewan has chosen the applicants for permanent residency
Several hundred invitations have been sent out in a new drawing.
On July 21, the Saskatchewan Immigration Programme issued 280 invitations to apply for a nomination from the province.
The invitations in the system "Expression of interest" were distributed as follows:
- qualified professionals who are selected through Express Entry are 84 invitations;
- professionals in demand — 196 invitations.
The passing score for both categories was 77, three points lower than it was in the previous selection, which was held on July 8.
The invited candidates had experience in one of 63 suitable professions. The list includes managers in various fields, production operators, administrative staff, technologists, machinists, supervisors and other professions.
In addition to having a suitable profession, applicants for immigration to Saskatchewan are assessed on factors such as work experience, education, language, age and links to the province.
