Quebec begins accepting applications for the IT immigration program
Candidates have just a few months to participate in the 2021 selection process.
Applications for Quebec's new program: an immigration pilot for professionals in artificial intelligence (AI), information technology (IT) and visual effects began on April 22.
Candidates with work experience in Quebec and Quebec university graduates are eligible for this program. The program is designed to fill the province's shortage of workers in high-demand occupations.
In 2021, applications for the pilot will be accepted from April 22 to October 31.
The program will run until January 1, 2026. The Quebec government plans to invite 550 candidates per year.
