Saskatchewan's promised selection for entrepreneurs has passed

Saskatchewan

The province has invited the first candidates of the year under a special stream for businessmen.

On Jan. 11, Saskatchewan held an invitation drawing specifically for entrepreneurs. A total of 13 invitations were sent to applicants who scored between 125 and 160 points in the provincial scoring system. Applicants who showed a CLB 6 (above average) level of English or French could score 120 points to receive an invitation.

The previous draw for the entrepreneurial stream was held on November 2, 2023, at which time the required scores were 5 points lower. Next time the selection for businessmen will be held already April 11.

The Saskatchewan Entrepreneurial Stream is suitable for those who want to buy or launch their own business in the province. Applicants need to have capital of CA$ 500,000 and investment funds of CA$ 200,000 or more to participate in the program.
