Canada has sent hundreds of invitations to transportation workers

Special selection for different specialists – from air traffic controllers to carriage drivers.

On December 20, the second ever Express Entry drawing was held especially for transportation workers. A total of 670 invitations were sent out.

This selection was first held on September 20, and the passing score has remained unchanged since then. Successful applicants had to score 435 points or more in the Comprehensive Ranking System. Points are awarded for parameters such as age, work experience, language skills, education, availability of a job offer in Canada, ability to adapt to the country, and so on.

In order to qualify for the selection process for transport sector workers, one must have one of the ten eligible occupations — the full list can be viewed here. In addition to relevant qualifications, you must have at least 6 months of relevant experience in the last 3 years.
