Saskatchewan held a screening for entrepreneurs
The province has issued relocation invitations to businessmen.
On Nov. 2, Saskatchewan held an invitation drawing specifically for entrepreneurs.
Thirteen invitations were sent to candidates who scored between 120 and 155 points in the provincial scoring system. Candidates who showed English or French proficiency at CLB 6 (above average) could score 115 points to receive an invitation.
The previous drawing for businesses was held September 7, at which time the required points were lower.
The Saskatchewan Entrepreneurial Stream is suitable for those who want to buy or start a business in the province. Applicants must have capital of CA$ 500,000 and investment funds of CA$ 200,000 or more to participate in the program.
