Another Express Entry general selection went right on time

A new draw on federal immigration programs.

On October 10, another selection of federal program applicants through the Express Entry system took place. A total of 3,725 invitations were sent.

Express Entry is Canada's system for selecting applicants for federal immigration programs. There are three programs:

Today's drawing took place exactly two weeks after the previous general selection, which took place on September 26. The passing score since then has slightly decreased: applicants who received invitations today needed to score at least 500 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System. A very different order of scores was shown in the selections for francophones September 27 and in the agri-food sector September 28.
