There are slightly more invitations than usual this time.

On August 22, British Columbia held a new drawing for immigration candidates under the provincial program. A total of 230 people were invited, some with in-demand occupations.

169 invitations were distributed among the following categories:

Another 61 invitations were sent to candidates with in-demand occupations who scored 60 points:

British Columbia awards points for factors such as education, work experience, language skills, employer location, and salary. You must also find a job in the province before applying for immigration.

British Columbia conducted the previous selection on August 9, and the passing scores were almost unchanged. On August 15, a targeted draw was held, inviting only specialists with in-demand professions.
