Ontario selects entrepreneurs to relocate
Several individuals were chosen for permanent residency.
On July 28, the province of Ontario held a draw and invited 11 entrepreneurs. They needed to score between 134 and 151 points in the evaluation system.
Ontario's Entrepreneur Stream is for business people who have a net worth of CAD 400,000 or more and are willing to invest CAD 200,000 or more in their business. Points are awarded for factors such as language skills, education, business ownership and management experience, amount of net worth and investment, number of jobs created, business concept, etc.
The previous selection for entrepreneurs was held on May 12, and the minimum score was 1 point higher.
