British Columbia is issuing immigration invitations again

The province doesn't stop its tradition of holding draws every week.

On June 27, British Columbia held a new draw for immigration applicants. The province sent out 185 invitations to various applicants.

130 of them were selected in the general drawing. They applied by the following streams:

In addition, 55 invitations were given to candidates with certain professions who scored at least 60 points:

The previous general selection in British Columbia took place on June 13. Passing scores for skilled workers and international graduates were 2 points lower, while those for semi-skilled workers remained the same. There was also a targeted selection on June 20, which included educators, health professionals, and veterinarians.

British Columbia awards points for education, language skills, work experience, employer location, and salary. You must find a job in the province before you can apply for immigration.
