Three immigration draws in Alberta in late June
The province shared the results of the selections that took place a week ago.
On June 27, the province of Alberta released the results of all immigration draws for professionals with profiles in Express Entry that took place over the past week. In total, the province sent out 212 invitations.
There is a general requirement for all applicants to have an Express Entry profile and to meet the requirements of one of the federal immigration programs:
In all the draws, the passing scores were quite low.
On June 20, Alberta invited 68 applicants who received a provincial job offer in construction and scored a minimum of 301 on the Comprehensive Ranking System.
On June 21, luck smiled on 19 candidates with job offers in Alberta in the healthcare sector. These professionals needed to score a minimum of 318 points.
On June 22, there was a general selection for applicants of all professions, but applicants who had in-demand professions or relatives in the province had an advantage. In this drawing, the region sent 125 invitations to those who scored at least 306 points.
Earlier this month, Alberta hosted the same drawings on June 1 and 8.
