Alberta shared the results of the May and June draws
The province has not published any information for a long time, and now it has posted all the selections at once.
On June 12, the province of Alberta released the results of all immigration selections for specialists with an Express Entry profile that took place over the past month and a half.
The general requirement for all applicants is to have an Express Entry profile and to meet the requirements of one of the federal immigration programs:
Also, most of the draws were for certain candidates who had professions in demand, knew French, or found work in the province.
Draws in May
On May 9, there were two selections. The first invited 8 candidates who had received a healthcare job offer in Alberta and had scored a minimum of 307 on the Comprehensive Ranking System.
The second selection was for candidates in the tourism and hospitality sector. They as well needed to have a job offer in the province. 175 people were invited, and the minimum passing score was 444.
On May 11, there was a general selection for applicants of all professions, but preference was given to those with relatives in the province and in-demand occupations. In this drawing, the province sent out 119 invitations to applicants who scored at least 311 points.
The next round of invitations was held on May 23. 5 candidates with a passing score of 401 were selected. They needed a job offer in healthcare.
On May 30, applicants with agricultural occupations were selected who also found jobs in Alberta. In this draw, the province selected 20 people who scored 342 or higher.
Draws in June
On June 1, the general selection was again held with priority for candidates with in-demand professions and relatives in the province. 117 people received invitations. However, the passing score was slightly lower — 304.
The last of the selections took place on June 8. 150 participants who scored 382 points were invited. They had to have a profession in agriculture and choose French as their primary language on their immigration application. A job offer was not necessary.
Alberta began alternating between general draws and targeted ones regularly. Earlier in April, the province had held similar selections.
