New Express Entry draw: scores are dropping!
But there is still room for improvement.
On April 26, Canada held a new draw for candidates who are registered in the Express Entry system.
The total number of invitees was 3,500. They needed to score a minimum of 483 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System. Points are awarded for factors such as language skills, age, education, work experience, and so on.
The passing score in the new selection has decreased, but it's not a record. The lowest recent score was 481 in the draw on March 29. The score then went up to 486 in the selection on April 12. The number of invitations isn't as gratifying as it used to be either. In the draws that took place in March, Canada invited 7,000 candidates each.
