Fanshawe College is a leading polytechnic institution in southwestern Ontario. Fanshawe College offers many study programs and employment assistance both during and after graduation.
One of the surest ways to immigrate to Canada is to enter a university or college. You can study at any age and even if you have poor English. After you graduate, you will get a work permit in Canada, and additional permanent residency programs will open up for you.
About the college
In 2022, Fanshawe College had 43,000 students, including more than 18,000 (42%) international students who came from 120 countries. The college offers more than 220 professional education, continuing education, undergraduate, and graduate programs. More than 70 programs with mandatory paid on-the-job training (co-op) are also available.
Fanshawe has five campuses in London, Ontario, and additional campuses in several other cities across the province. London is the fastest-growing city in Ontario and is also considered a medical and educational center. London regularly hosts art and music exhibitions and festivals, and tourism is well-developed, so students won't be bored.
In addition, Fanshawe has a campus in downtown Toronto that works in partnership with ILAC language school (Fanshawe's Toronto@ILAC) and specializes in health, service, and hospitality programs. Some programs include on-the-job training.
Assistance with employment
After graduation from Fanshawe, graduates receive a work permit in Canada. The college ranks first in Ontario in terms of the number of graduates employed (87.6%).
More than 70 programs are available at the college with mandatory paid on-the-job internships. The college also offers seminars, job fairs, job placement services, career counseling, and CV writing assistance. Students are helped to network and connect with employers.

Tuition cost
Tuition cost for international students at Fanshawe College starts at CAD 15,300 per year but averages out to CAD 16,000 per year. These costs do not include application fees for student visas (CAD 1,000), flight tickets, and living expenses in Canada. To apply for a visa, it is recommended to have at least CAD 10,000 in your bank account if you are traveling alone, and CAD 3,000 to 4,000 for each accompanying family member.
