Nova Scotia selects medics to immigrate

Who has a chance to move?

Nova Scotia is targeting healthcare professionals. On April 11, the province sent out notifications of interest to candidates who were registered in Express Entry.

Express Entry is the system Canada uses to process applications for federal immigration programs. Registered applicants can receive an invitation in the Express Entry general draw, apply for provincial programs that also work through Express Entry, or receive a notification of interest from a province. If a candidate receives a notification of interest, they can accept it and move to that region.

Those who have received a notification of interest from Nova Scotia and are willing to move to the province must complete an application on the official website by May 11.

Those also healthcare professionals who have not received notification can consider other ways to immigrate to Nova Scotia.

Nova Scotia very rarely holds immigration draws. The last provincial draw was in November 2022.
