British Columbia issued invitations for immigration
Another selection from the province for over 170 people.
On April 4, British Columbia held a new draw in which it selected 175 candidates for the provincial immigration program.
152 candidates received invitations in the general drawing for the following streams:
- Skilled Worker (including those registered in the Express Entry system) — a minimum score of 103;
- International Graduate (including those registered in the Express Entry system) — a minimum score of 106;
- Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled — a minimum score of 85.
Another 23 applicants received invitations in the target draw for certain professions. Candidates needed to score 60 points:
- early childhood educators and assistants — 17 invitations;
- healthcare professionals — 6 invitations.
Previously British Columbia held draws on March 21, and the passing scores remained almost unchanged.
The province awards points for work experience, language skills, education, employer location, and wage. All applicants must also have a job offer in British Columbia.
