202 more invitations to immigrate to British Columbia

The province has held another immigration draw.

On March 21, a new draw under British Columbia's provincial immigration program took place. The province selected 258 candidates.

202 applicants received invitations in the general drawing for the following streams:

The previous draw was held on March 7. In the current draw, the passing scores for international graduates and skilled workers increased slightly, while the passing scores for entry-level and semi-skilled workers remained unchanged.

Another 34 candidates received invitations in the target draw for certain occupations. Participants were required to score 60 points:

The previous target draw was held on March 14, the passing score remained the same.

British Columbia awards points for work experience, education, language skills, employer location, and wage. All applicants must have an offer of employment in the province.
