Depeche Mode will perform in three Canadian cities
The legendary synth-pop band is coming to Canada as part of a world tour in support of their new album "Memento Mori".
"Memento Mori" is the fifteenth album in the Depeche Mode discography and the first one they have recorded since the death of the band's keyboardist Andy Fletcher. The record is scheduled for release on March 24th, 2023.
Now Depeche Mode is officially a duo. The two remaining members of the band, the founding members Dave Gahan and Martin Gore, decided to continue as Depeche Mode after all.
In February, the lead single from the upcoming album "Ghosts Again" was released, and it not only pleasantly surprised music critics and fans of the band, but also pleased the musicians themselves, saying that "it is not often possible to record a song that does not make you sick after listening to it.
Depeche Mode's North American tour kicks off the day before the release of the new album, March 23 in Sacramento, California, and ends April 14 in New York City with a show at Madison Square Garden.
On April 7 the band will arrive in Canada, where will give three stadium concerts:
On April 7, Depeche Mode will perform in Toronto at the Scotiabank Arena.
April 9 — in Quebec at the Videotron Centre arena.
April 12 — in Montreal at the Bell Centre Sports Complex.
