Stranger Things: Experience" immersive attraction comes to Canada
In March, get ready to dive into the upside-down world of the cult Netflix hit "Stranger Things."
Streaming giant Netflix and entertainment platform Fever are bringing an immersive attraction based on the series "Stranger Things" to Toronto in March. The show is called Stranger Things: The Experience, and it has already been successfully presented in New York, San Francisco and London.
Now it's the turn of Toronto residents and visitors to immerse themselves not only in the mysterious world of the cult Netflix hit "Stranger Things," but also in the aesthetics of the 1980s.
"Stranger Things: The Experience" combines special effects and themed rooms, and will occupy 50,000 square feet at Toronto's Cinespace Film Studios.
According to the official website, the Toronto version of Stranger Things: The Experience will feature a brand new storyline. The adventure will begin in the sinister laboratory of Hawkins, where participants in the immersive experience can become part of the iconic series' history and team up with their favorite "Stranger Things" characters, including Eleven, Dustin, Mike, Lucas, Max and Will. Throughout the adventure, participants in the immersive attraction will enter familiar locations from the series and encounter various characters from the Netflix hit.
After traveling through an upside-down world, participants will find themselves in the Mix-Tape area, an incredibly realistic 1980s-style hangout where they can visit all the locations known from the show, like Scoops Ahoy, Surfer Boy Pizza, and Byer's Room. Here you can enjoy food and drinks from the 1980s, play arcade games, listen to music, and immerse yourself in 1980s nostalgia.
"Stranger Things: The Experience" starts in Toronto in March with tickets starting at $49.
