British Columbia has held several immigration selections

In addition to the general raffle invited medics, educators and entrepreneurs.

On June 28, British Columbia sent out invitations to apply for nomination. The nomination gives 600 extra points in the Express Entry system, which means an almost complete guarantee of a permanent residence permit.

The province sent out 159 invitations in the overall selection and also selected 17 early childhood educators and assistants and six health professionals. In total, the province sent out 182 invitations in this selection.

See the table below for the passing score. For participants in the target selection it has not changed since the last drawing, which was held June 21. For some categories in the general selection — increased literally by one point.

  • at least $300,000 CAD of personal funds;
  • English or French at level 4 on the Canadian CLB scale.

In total, B.C. invited 4,276 people in 2022. From a table with provincial selection history you can keep track of who was invited and with what minimum scores to increase your chances of success.
