The province of Ontario held two selections at the same time

One of them invited refugees.

On February 22, the province Ontario issued 781 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination.

Eight invitations were issued to participants in the foreign professional stream who participated in the economic mobility program, which is designed for qualified refugees who meet the requirements of the immigration program. The selection passed with no passing grades.

Another 773 people were invited as part of the Human Capital Priorities stream, which gives preference to participants who are in demand in the labor market. The selected candidates scored between 455 and 600 on the Comprehensive Ranking System and had experience in one of the priority occupations:

To participate in the Human Capital Priorities stream, a candidate must have a profile in the Express Entry system, which the Canadian federal government uses to process applications for permanent residency, and meet the requirements of one of the federal programs:

Candidates will receive an additional 600 points in Express Entry if they are successfully nominated by the province. Due to this high score, they can easily receive an invitation to immigration in the next selection.

To increase your chances of receiving an invitation from Ontario, keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
