Saskatchewan began the year with a small selection
There were fewer invitations than usual.
On January 12, Saskatchewan sent 104 invitations to apply for nominations under the provincial immigration program. This is significantly less than what was in last year's drawings.
The invitations were distributed as follows:
- Professionals in demand — 67 invitations;
- skilled professionals who are selected through the Express Entry system — 37 invitations.
The passing score in the system "Expression of Interest" for both categories was 68.
Invited candidates had experience in one of the appropriate professions:
- medical laboratory technologists;
- paramedics;
- psychologists;
- medical sonographers;
- professional therapists;
- radiation medicine technologists.
In addition to having a suitable profession, applicants for immigration to Saskatchewan are assessed on factors such as work experience, education, language, age and connections to the province.
To increase your chances of receiving an invitation from Saskatchewan, keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
