Newfoundland and Labrador holds four job fairs

The province awaits those wishing to immigrate.

On January 1, 2022, the Atlantic Immigration Program officially restarted. It was very popular, including in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Applications for the program are not accepted until March, and the provincial government has decided to hold a series of information sessions with employers for prospective immigrants during that time.

The next sessions will be online Jan. 11 at 11 a.m. local time and Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. local time. Participation is free and registration is open on the official website of Newfoundland and Labrador. Two more information sessions are expected in the future, dates have not yet been announced.

Participants will be told how to move to Newfoundland and Labrador through the Atlantic Immigration Program. Only those who are considering a move to that province are asked to register.

In addition to Newfoundland and Labrador, the Atlantic program allows immigration to three other regions: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. It has lower eligibility requirements, but you must find a job in one of the participating provinces to apply.
