Quebec accepts applications for new pilot programme
Nurses with work experience and a good knowledge of French can immigrate.
On March 31, a new Quebec pilot program was launched. It aims to retain temporary foreign workers with experience as orderlies in Quebec. It will help fill a labour shortage in the province.
In 2021, applications for the immigration pilot will be accepted from 31 March to 31 October. Every year, it is planned to invite 550 applicants as well as their family members. The pilot will last until 1 January 2026.

The pilot for sanitation workers is one of the new areas of Quebec's immigration program. Earlier, applications for the immigration pilot for food industry workers had begun, and applications for the pilot for specialists in IT, artificial intelligence and visual effects are expected to begin on April 22.
