Express Entry: who was the lucky one this time?

Express Entry: who was the lucky one this time?

Canada has shared the results of its long-awaited immigration screening.

On March 8, Canada sent 671 invitations to candidates registered in the Express Entry system. This time, luck again smiled on the participants of provincial programs.

In the last selection, the minimum passing score on the Complex Ranking System was 739. This was 19 points higher than in the previous round of invitations, which was held on February 10.

Express Entry is Canada's system for selecting qualified immigrants through three federal economic class programs:

In the Express Entry system, points are awarded based on the candidate's human factors such as age, education, work experience and knowledge of English or French. The high passing score in the current selection process is due to the fact that a nomination from a province gives a participant an additional 600 points.

This year, Canada is expected to welcome 401,000 new immigrants, 108,500 of whom will immigrate through Express Entry. Despite all the restrictions, Canada plans for these targets to rise to 110,500 in 2022 and 113,750 in 2023 in the coming years.
