Candidates with priority occupations made it into Ontario's selection process

Candidates with priority occupations made it into Ontario

The province has pulled off a very big immigration prank.

On March 2, the province of Ontario sent nomination invitations to 754 candidates in the Express Entry system. Applicants who made the selection had one year of experience in one of the ten priority occupations and scored between 463 and 467 on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

Provincial Immigration Ontario was recruiting candidates with experience in the following occupations:

Applicants did not need a job offer to receive an invitation, but they did need to have at least one year of experience in one of the specified occupations, as well as have a profile in the Express Entry system.

Candidates who have received a notice of interest now have 45 calendar days to apply for provincial nomination.

Candidates will be added an additional 600 points if they successfully receive a nomination from the province. Due to this high passing score, candidates will easily be able to receive an invitation to the next Express Entry selection through the Human Capital Priorities stream.

To maximize your chances of receiving an invitation to submit a nomination, we recommend keeping an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
