Immigration to Yukon for skilled workers
Highly qualified professionals who have received a job offer in Yukon may qualify for permanent residency under the Skilled Worker stream.
The Skilled Worker stream of Yukon's program is designed for highly skilled professionals who have received a job offer in the region.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the Skilled Worker stream, you must meet the following requirements:
- get a job offer in a NOC level 0, A or B occupation (managerial, skilled and trades occupations);
- have at least 1 year of work experience in a position similar to the one offered;
- have at least a completed high school education;
- demonstrate proficiency in English or French:
- NOC 0 and A occupations: at level 6 on the CLB scale (slightly above average);
- NOC B occupations: at level 5 on the CLB scale (average level).
How to apply
The candidate must complete the immigration application and mail it to the address listed on the official website of the Yukon Territory.
