Immigration to Yukon for skilled workers

Highly skilled professionals who have received a job offer in Yukon may be eligible for permanent residency through the Skilled Worker stream.

The Skilled Worker stream of the Yukon Nominee Program is designed for highly skilled specialists who have received a job offer in this region.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible to apply for the Skilled Worker stream, you must meet the following requirements:

  • receive a job offer in an occupation classified as TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 in the NOC system (management, highly skilled, and skilled trades occupations);
  • have at least 1 year of work experience in a position similar to the one offered;
  • have at least a high school diploma;
  • be proficient in English or French:
    • for NOC TEER 0 and 1 occupations: at CLB level 6 (slightly above intermediate);
    • for NOC TEER 2 and 3 occupations: at CLB level 5 (intermediate).

How to apply

The candidate must complete and submit an immigration application together with their employer.
