Before you immigrate to another country, you should soberly assess your options, especially financial ones. Do not have illusions about moving, you should be better prepared. To make it easier for you, we suggest looking at a list of necessary expenses.

Good afternoon! Today we are going to talk about how much money it takes to emigrate. Let's get to our arithmetic calculations.

Unavoidable expenses

1. Before you start the process, you have to pay the fee for the process itself. Everyone over the age of 22, they pay $550, if you are under 22 — $150.

2. Notarial translation of documents from $150 to $400 — depending on the notary, the translator and, of course, on the number of documents you are going to translate.

3. the language test — from $170 to $200.

4. Medicine — from $150 to $200 — depending on the city where you live. And you need to go only to those doctors who have a special certificate. There is a specific list of doctors, that is, you can not just go and do everything in the clinic or hospital.

5. The permanent residency fee is $490 — it does not change.

6. It will be necessary to provide a certificate from the bank — $10,000 for one person, for each additional person — $2,500.

7. Transportation expenses (if you do not live in Moscow) in order to get a visa. Here everything is individual: expenses for transportation, hotel accommodation and meals.

Police certificate. Prices vary — it depends on the region, the republic. Approximately $20. In addition, there may be several of these certificates if you have lived in another region for more than six months. In this case, you will have to account for this period of time — to provide your criminal history.

Airfare. Rarely does anyone go by steamboat. Costs anywhere from $800 to $1,400. Can cost more, depending on what class you choose.

Let's add a little more

Now the secondary expenses. Not everyone can have them:

1. immigration specialists — paralegals (paralegal assistants) or attorneys.

2. Travel to the interview. If necessary, you may be summoned. Again you will need to calculate travel expenses if you are not from Moscow. The interview itself does not cost anything.

3. Pets. Here, too, costs must be taken into account.

Total: mandatory expenses are $2,800. To this amount you need to add the $10,000 that you will be showing and the cost of the airfare. These are your real expenses.

All the best to you and good luck!
