World's top 10 countries 2023. Where does Canada rank?

Canada is constantly taking top places in different rankings. In 2021 Canada was named the best country in the world, in 2022 it dropped to third place, and now it has risen and taken the honorable second line of the ranking.

I have to say that there are a lot of rankings comparing countries, I will use the numbers of the rather famous US News portal. It publishes country rankings every year, as well as the world's university ranking and the like. The website is one of the 1,200 most visited ones in the world, and last month 50 million users visited it.

Canada's disadvantages

Countries in the ranking are evaluated on a variety of factors. These include cultural influence, entrepreneurship, quality of life, social goals, and so on. All the indicators added up, Canada ranks second out of 87 countries. There are some indicators in which Canada lags behind.

The first is adventure, with the country ranking 20th out of 87. This includes factors such as fun, pleasant climate, tourism, and the like. Seems fair to me, because Canada is usually cold. The third factor that Canada ranks low in the ranking of the best countries in the world is the so-called movement, it ranks as low as 58th. This is how dynamic Canada is, how unique, how ready for change and problem-solving, and the like. I have to agree here too, in some ways, Canada does seem a bit backward.

Canada's strengths

Here's what makes me happy is that Canada is 3rd in the world in quality of life, 4th in social purpose, and 5th in entrepreneurship. I think that's a decent result.

So, Sweden is in third place, and Australia is in fourth place. The United States is in fifth place. Many people want to move to the U.S., but Canada is still better. You can argue that Canada has lower salaries, but not everything is measured in money, and the safety and social security of the population in the U.S. is worse. The sixth place in the best countries ranking goes to Japan, followed by Germany, followed by New Zealand in eighth place, the U.K. in ninth place, and the Netherlands in tenth place.

First place

The honorable first place is held by Switzerland. It was in first place last year as well and is often ranked first. But if you look separately at the quality of life indicator, it ranks sixth, while Canada ranks third. So it's still better to move to Canada.
