Alberta continues to holc frequent selections
This year, those wishing to immigrate to the province are very lucky.
Alberta has released the immigration draw results for August 3. The province issued 201 invitations to professionals with a profile in Express Entry.
There is a prerequisite to have an Express Entry profile and meet the requirements of one of the federal immigration programs:
In this draw, candidates were invited regardless of their occupation, but those with an in-demand specialty or relatives in Alberta had an advantage. A minimum score of 315 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System was also required.
The province's previous selections were held on July 18 and August 1. Only candidates with certain professions were selected.
